Alan Campbell (politician)

Alan Campbell (born July 8, 1957) is a politician in the United Kingdom, and Labour member of Parliament for Tynemouth. He is back-bencher, and is a member of the Seaside Group of Labour MPs.

He won the seat in the 1997, displacing the Conservative incumbent. Before he entered politics, he had been a teacher.
