Albatros
Albatros (also albatross) is a large web-footed bird of the southern hemisphere which has long narrow wings and is noted for powerful gliding flight.
- Albatros is the name of a sailing vessel which sank on May 3, 1961, due to a white squall and prompted the U.S. Sailing School Vessels Act of 1982.
- Albatros-Flugzeugwerke was the name of a Berlin-based German aircraft manufacturer during World War I.
