Albert Mol

Albert Mol (January 1, 1917 - March 9, 2004) was a popular Dutch actor and TV personality, who appeared in movies and TV shows in a career that spanned nearly 60 years.

One of the first openly gay actors in the Netherlands, he was born in Amsterdam. He married Lucy Bor in 1948 and divorced her in 1955. They had a child together, actress Kika Mol in 1949. On 16 March, 1998, Albert Mol married Guerdon Bill (a same-sex marriage). They remained married until the death of Guerdon on 17 August, 2003. He died on March 9, 2004 in Laren at the age of 87.
