Angel's Egg

   

Angel's Egg is a Japanese anime produced by Tokuma Shoten in 1985. Its Japanese title is "Tenshi no tamago". It is a long feature film that incorporates surrealistic environments and existentialist qualities. Angel's Egg is a co-production between popular artist Yoshitaka Amano and film director Mamoru Oshii. Angel's Egg is a commonly cited example of progressive anime.
