AirPort Express

AirPort Express is Apple Computer's wireless networking product introduced on June 7, 2004. It is based on the IEEE 802.11g protocol, and includes one Ethernet port for a broadband internet connection or LAN. The AirPort Express Base Station includes a wireless streaming option called AirTunes and a USB Printer Port to share your printer on the network.
AirTunes
AirTunes is technology based within Apple's iTunes jukebox software that takes a source of audio, encryptes it and then transmits it to the airport express for playback through a stereo.
