Cray Y-MP

   

The Cray Y-MP was a supercomputer sold by Cray Research from 1988, and the successor of the the company's Cray X-MP. The Y-MP could be equipped with up to sixteen vector processors in parallel. It primarily used the UniCOS operating system.
