Donald Wills Douglas, Sr.

   

Donald Wills Douglas, Sr. (April 6, 1892February 1, 1981) was a U.S. aircraft industrialist. His most significant achievement was as founder of the Douglas Aircraft Company in 1921 (the company later merged into McDonnell Douglas Corporation).

He received his bachelor's degree from MIT in 1914.
