Durlach

Durlach is a borough of Karlsruhe. Margrave Karl of Bavaria saw in Durlach the inspiration for the foundation of Karlsruhe. Among the sights is the Turmberg, a castle from which there is a fine vista. Previously an independent town, in 1938 Durlach was incorporated into Karlsruhe.
