Jimmy Fallon

James Thomas Fallon (born September 19, 1974 in Brooklyn, New York) is an American comedian, actor and musician who is best known for his work on Saturday Night Live.

Fallon was raised in Saugerties (Upstate New York) with his one year older sister Gloria and his parents, Jim and Gloria (yes, you read that correctly). His parents were very overprotective, thus Fallon attended St. Mary of the Snow, a catholic private school. The Fallon kids finally stepped up and demanded to make more than 7 friends, and thus were put in the public, Saugerties High School. He graduated in 1992, and went on to St.Rose College in Albany, New York. Jimmy persued a Computer Science degree, and dropped out only 15 credits shy of graduating and fled to Los Angeles, where he began to work to be on Saturday Night Live.

From 2000 until his departure from the show in 2004, Fallon co-anchored Saturday Night Live's "Weekend Update" segment with Tina Fey. Among his impressions were Pat O'Brien, Osama bin Laden, Jeff Zucker, Dennis Miller, and Barry Gibb. Some famous characters he has had include Joey Mack, Nick Burns, Sully and Denise, and Jarrett from Jarrett's Room.

Fallon has also appeared in the movies Taxi, Anything Else, The Entrepreneurs Band of Brothers and Almost Famous.

In 2002, Fallon released the comedy album The Bathroom Wall.

Fallon also hosted the 2002 MTV Video Music Awards and co-hosted the 2001 MTV Movie Awards with Kirsten Dunst.

Before landing his dream job on Saturday Night Live, Jimmy snagged the lead in "The Scheme" (AKA The Entrepreneurs) as Ray, the shy idiot. The movie had no success, but is popular among Fallon's fans.

In the fall of 2004, after leaving SNL, Jimmy starred in his first big role as Detective Washburn in the buddy comedy "Taxi" along side Queen Latifah.

Fallon just completed his latest project, "Fever Pitch" along with co-star Drew Barrymore, directed by the Farrelly brothers. The film is due to release on October 7, 2005.

Fallon resides in Gramercy Park NY, where he plans on staying.
