Kitamoto (Japanese: 北本市; -shi) is a city located in Saitama, Japan.

As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 70,237 and the density of 3,540.17 persons per km&sup2. The total area is 19.84 km².

The city was founded on November 3, 1971.
