Klingonaase
Klingonaase is a fictional language appearing in works by John M. Ford related to the science fiction series Star Trek, in which it is depicted as the language of the Klingon race. The suffix -aase means "tool" so Klingonaase is the tool (i.e. language) of the Klingons.
Klingonaase first appeared in 1984 in the tie-in novel The Final Reflection, which features a detailed view of Klingon society. It also appears in the Klingon supplement for the FASA Star Trek role-playing game of the 1980s, which is partly based on materials created for the novel.
Ford's version of Klingon language and culture have never been used in any canonical Star Trek work. Canonical Star Trek has developed its own version of Klingon culture, and uses the Klingon language, tlhIngan Hol, which was independently created by professional linguist Marc Okrand for the Star Trek movies at around the same time.
