Kurobe

Kurobe (黒部市; -shi) is a city located in Toyama, Japan.

As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 36,505 and the density of 420.76 persons per km&sup2. The total area is 86.76 km².

The city was founded on April 1, 1954.
