Common Usage

The term 'little green men' has for some time been used to represent fictional space aliens in general.

The Toy Story Connection

The abbreviation LGM often specifically refers to the little green men from the Toy Story films, though the actual phrase LGM is only used within the attendant cartoon series Buzz Lightyear of Star Command in which the hapless aliens are often referred to as LGMs.
