OMNI Television consists of two television stations -- OMNI.1 and OMNI.2 -- and is a multicultural Canadian television station.

OMNI.1 (granted callsign CFMT by the CRTC) began broadcasting in 1979. The call letters stand for "Canada's First Multilingual Television."

In 1985, CFMT became Canada's first TV station to broadcast in stereo. The following year, it was sold to Rogers Broadcasting.

In 1993, CFMT installed repeat transmitters in London and Ottawa, on channels 69 and 60, respectively.

CFMT launched CJMT (OMNI.2) on September 16, 2002. CFMT became OMNI.1 in the summer of 2003

OMNI.1 broadcasts on channel 47. OMNI.2 broadcasts on channel 69. Combined, the OMNI stations broadcast in more than 40 languages to ethnocultural groups encompassing close to 50 communities.

OMNI.2 was granted rebroadcast transmitters in the London and Ottawa, areas in the spring of 2004.
