Oulunsalo

Oulunsalo is a municipality in the province of Oulu, in Finland. The municipality is located in Northern Finland just south-west of city of Oulu. The population of Oulunsalo is 8,915 (2003-12-31) and the municipality covers an area of 81.65 km² (excluding sea areas) of which 0.87 km² is inland water (2004-01-01). The population density is 110.4 inhabitants per km² (2004-01-01). Municipality of Oulunsalo has been founded in 1882.

Oulu Airport is located in Oulunsalo.
