Port Island

ja:ポートアイランド Port Island (ポートアイランド Pōtoairando) is an artificial island in Kobe, Japan. It was constructed between 1966 and 1981, and officially opened with an exposition called "Port Pier '81." It now houses a heliport, numerous hotels, a large convention center, and several parks.

When Kobe Airport is completed, it will be adjacent to Port Island.
