Queen Anne

The term Queen Anne, when applied to a style of furniture or architecture, refers to the only British monarch of the name, Anne, who reigned between 1702 and 1714.

However, there have been several queen consorts, in various countries, as well as the one reigning monarch, named Anne. They include:

Anne of Austria, queen of Louis XIII of France

Anne of Bohemia, queen of Richard II of England

Anne Boleyn, second queen of Henry VIII of England

Anne of Brittany, queen of both Charles VIII of France and Louis XII of France

Anne Neville, queen of Richard III of England

Anna I of Russia, better known as Anna Ivanovna, Empress of Russia
