Rat-Man

   

  • The Rat Man was a pseudonym given by Sigmund Freud to one of his patients, Ernst Lanzer, to protect his anonymity when his case study was published.
  • There are other comics character with the name "Ratman" or "Rat Man".

Created by Leo Ortolani in 1989, Rat-Man is the protagonist of two popular italian comic book, "Rat-Man Collection" and "Tutto Rat-Man".

The character appears from the first time in Spot #2, inside L'Eternauta #86, june 1990, after Ortolani's victory in a young artist contest. From 1990 to 1995 Rat-Man is published on Spot and Made in usa (a fanzine); therefore Ortolani produced himself with his work as a geologist, until in 1997 gained a contract with Marvel Italia, a division of Panini Comics.
