FedEx Ground
Roadway Package System was small package shipping company started by Roadway Services and headquartered in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. It was created to compete against UPS. When Roadway Services spun off Roadway Express, Roadway Package System was rebranded as RPS.
Roadway Package System was renamed FedEx Ground in January 2000 [[1] (http://www.fedex.com/us/about/today/history/#3)], two years after being acquired by FedEx, a company that offers overnight courier and logistics services.
