Royal International Air Tattoo
The Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) is the UK's largest air show and is held annually at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire. It is held in support of the RAF Benevolent Fund.
It usually attracts about 168,000 spectators, and is a great alternative to Farnborough "business" feeling. RIAT really caters for the enthusiast, and it is possible to buy VIP membership. With a VIP membership you become a Friend of RIAT (FRIAT), this gives you access to a elevated grandstand among other things. The grandstand gives you a excellent photo opportunity. A FRIAT membership cost about £140 to £99.
