Script may mean:

  1. A writing system
  2. A manuscript, scroll
  3. A draft for a book
  4. The dialog and instructions for a play, film (see screenplay), or comic book or strip; or, without dialog, the instructions for a dance routine (such as for a musical, or the ballet)
  5. A kind of computer program
