Squat

   

The word squat has two different meanings:

  • The act of occupying a building without permission, as practiced by a squatter.
  • The squat is a lower-body exercise in bodybuilding, which is also used as a lift in powerlifting.
  • Squat is also the alternate name of Scott Adams' strip character Plop.
  • Squats are also a race of 'space dwarfs' in the Warhammer 40k universe.
