Syro-Malabar Catholic Church

   

The Syro-Malabar Catholic Church is an Eastern Rite church in communion with the Papacy.

The Synod of Diamper formally reunited this branch of the Church with the Catholic Church in 1599 by Aleixo de Meneses, archbishop of Goa. [1] (http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/04076a.htm)
