Televisión Nacional de Chile is a Chilean national television network. Its first broadcast was on 1969. It is owned by the Chilean government.


Technical Details

Televisión Nacional de Chile sends its feed via a 200+ sender network spanning all over Chile, using channelplace 7 in Santiago.

It also operates a external station (TV Chile), that is received via satellite around the world.

Programming

Television Nacional de Chile transmits from 11:00 GMT-06:00 GMT (24 hrs a day in TV Chile), and offers a healthy mix of news, culture, politics, entertainment, soapoperas(telenovelas), childrens programmes, religion etc.

It is owned in half by private interests, and therefore is allowed to show commercials, unlike other public-service channels...
