Terminal program

   


A terminal program (also referred to as a communications program or comm program for short) was a general category for software programs which could be used to dial up to a bulletin board system (BBS) using a modem.

Common terminal programs for MS DOS included ProComm, Qmodem, Telemate and Telix.
