Toothing

This article is not about teething, the growth of teeth by infants.

Toothing describes the use of a Bluetooth enabled mobile phone or PDA to arrange sexual encounters.

Toothing is made possible by the ability of a Bluetooth device to 'discover' other enabled devices within a radius of around 30 feet (10 meters). Having discovered another device, the expression toothing? is normally sent as an initial greeting.
