Troy Percival

   

Troy Eugene Percival (born August 9, 1969 in Fontana, California) is a baseball relief pitcher who currently plays for the Detroit Tigers. Percival spent most of his career with the Anaheim Angels but signed with Detroit as a free agent following the 2004 season.

Percival attended the University of California, Riverside and was drafted by the then California Angels in the 6th round of the 1990 amateur draft. He was called up to play with the Angels in 1995 and in the 1996 season, he had 36 saves. In total, Percival had 316 saves while at Anaheim, which put him at 12th on the all-time list in Major League Baseball.
