United Express

United Express is a name under which eight regional carriers operate feeder flights for United Airlines. Those carriers are Air Wisconsin (AWAC), Chautauqua Airlines, Great Lakes Aviation, Mesa Airlines, Republic Airlines, Shuttle America, SkyWest, and Trans States Airlines.

In 2004 Atlantic Coast Airlines, or ACA for short, ended operations as a United Express carrier and established itself at Washington Dulles International Airport as low-cost carrier Independence Air.
