University of Nebraska
The University of Nebraska is the main public higher education outlet of the State of Nebraska in the United States. It is comprised of the following campuses:
- University of Nebraska-Lincoln
- University of Nebraska at Omaha
- University of Nebraska at Kearney
- University of Nebraska Medical Center, located in Omaha
As of May 2004, the President of the University is James "J.B." Milliken, J.D., replacing L. Dennis Smith, and the Board of Regents comprises of:
- Charles Wilson, M.D., representing District 1 in the Lincoln area
- Howard Hawks, representing District 2 in greater Omaha
- Charles Hassebrook, representing District 3 in northeastern Nebraska
- Drew Miller, Ph.D., representing District 4 in the Omaha metropolitan area
- Jim McClurg, Ph.D., representing District 5 in southeast Nebraska, including part of Lincoln
- Kent Schroeder, J.D., representing District 6 in central Nebraska,
- Don Blank, DDS, representing District 7 in western Nebraska
- Randolph Ferlic, MD, representing District 8 in the Omaha area
- Brett Chloupek, representing the students of the University of Nebraska at Kearney
- Katie Weichman, representing the students of the University of Nebraska - Lincoln
- Ryan Arnold, representing the students of the University of Nebraska Medical Center
- Jonathan Croskey, representing the students of the University of Nebraska at Omaha
- Kim Robak, J.D., the corporation secretary
