Wayne Huizenga
Wayne Huizenga (December, 1937 -), has built several companies into multi-billion dollar enterprises, mostly through an aggressive process of acquisitions.
Starting with a single garbage truck he grew Waste Management Inc. into the largest waste disposal company in the United States, before repeating the process with Blockbuster Video.
He then moved into sports franchises, and owns the Miami Dolphins and Florida Panthers, as well as Pro Player Stadium in Miami. He previously owned the Florida Marlins. Huizenga has been scorned by the public in South Florida since the dismantling of the 1997 World Series Champion Florida Marlins.
His most recent venture is Auto Nation.
