Zederik
Zederik (population: 13,750) is a municipality in the western Netherlands, in the province of South Holland. The municipality covers an area of 76.48 km² (of which 2.38 km² water).
The municipality of Zederik consists the following towns, villages and townships: Ameide, Hei- en Boeicop, Leerbroek, Lexmond, Meerkerk, Nieuwland, Tienhoven.
Ameide
Ameide is a small town on the Lek River. It is located about 8km southwest of Vianen. Ameide received city rights in the 14th century.
